FINANCIAL MANAGER, PROJECT MEDISHARE FOR HAITI at Project Medishare for Haiti
1. Financial management: In collaboration with the Country Director and Accountant, assist in the oversight and reporting on Project Medishare programs in Haiti. Ensure compliance with financial regulation and auditing requirements.
2. Reporting: Work with the Miami-based Financial Manager in the development of Financial grant reports and the communication of any financial risks identified in the country-program.
3. Training and capacity-building: Work with local accounting staff and local Project Medishare partners in building their capacity in financial management.
Proven success, and at least three years’ experience, in financial management not-for-profits with multiple institutional grants.
At least five years’ experience working in highly professional, dynamic, and highly responsive, diverse environments
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a relevant field. Degree in accounting or MBA preferred.
Proficiency in Quickbooks
Fluent in English and Haitian Creole or French
Ability to work in a very fast-paced, highly-responsive environment, and on multiple projects with multiple constituents.
Self-driven, solution oriented, proactive, and highly committed to going ‘above and beyond’ in order to achieve successful, demonstrated, outcomes.

Since 1994, Project Medishare for Haiti has operated a community health program in Thomonde, located in the Central Plateau department. It is seeking a financial consultant to improve finance procedures, processes and oversight based between its Port-au-Prince office and the Central Plateau.
