Purchasing Manager at Brasserie de la Couronne S.A.
The Purchasing Manager is responsible to manage and develop the purchasing function by developing, implementing and updating purchasing policy and planning.
The purchasing managers work includes also securing quality suppliers of incoming materials, equipment and services, covering price, delivery and quality targets as required by KORE regulations and ISO Standards.
Main activities are:
Supervise and direct the work of the purchasing department (2 assistants, 1 driver and 1 Helper)
Ensure Goods & Services are available on a timely basis.
Ensure all Purchase Orders are processed and delivered on a timely basis.
Works closely with other department and Brokers.
Ensure that all suppliers are approved using the organization and Kore protocols.
Provide analysis to increase levels of service at reduced costs.
Request and evaluate bids for parts and services
Negotiate agreements with possible vendors
Manage and monitor contracts with existing suppliers
Perform evaluation of the suppliers based on Quality of Products and Delivery Time
Oversee the Contractor & Visitor Management Program
Degree level in Business Management, Business Administration or related field.
Supply Chain Management/Procurement is a plus.
3 to 5 years minimum experience in Administration, Procurement or Operation at a Management Level.
Ability to take proactive actions to overcome challenges and achieve results.
Written Communication Skills
Good understanding of the import/export processes
Good understanding of global supply chain and its related components
Ability to speak and write Creole, French & English
