Rooms Division Manager/Executive Assistant Manager at Club Indigo

Job Description:

The Rooms Division Manager (RDM) is responsible for Reception, Hostesses (Cashiers), Housekeeping and Laundry. In this role the RDM will become one of the principal faces of the resort to guests and staff alike.
An important additional responsibility will be to support the General Manager as the Executive Assistant Manager and to serve as the Acting General Manager in their absence.
In each of these roles the ability and interest in training and developing staff is of utmost importance. The successful RDM will require the ability to constantly adapt to the challenges presented by isolation, infrastructure issues, transportation

Job Qualifications:

Experience in remote and/or isolated locations such as a ship or destination resort would be most helpful.

At least 5 years of experience working in a Rooms Division management position.
Fluent in French with excellent writing and speaking skills in English. Creole and Spanish will be a plus

Computer literate with a background in Property Management Systems (PMS), Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
