Job Description:

Primary Function:
Under the supervision of the Project Officer, the Case Management Animator is responsible for providing individual and small group mentorship, training and coordination with IDP’s within camps in the specified work area. The Case Management Animator is ultimately responsible for ensuring the successful coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of day-to-day camp resettlement activities in his/her respective CRS Community Resettlement and Recovery Program / Camp Area.
Reporting hierarchically to the Project Officer, the person selected will be responsible for working closely with the Protection team and Psychologist within day-to-day activities.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
1) Hands on work with individuals and their families for managing resettlement of IDP’s in targeted camps
2) Ensure Accountability, Protection and M&E activities are incorporated into Case Management work
3) Coordinate small group trainings for IDP’s within the Ann Ale Lakay team
4) Share and apply lessons learned with the Ann Ale Lakay leadership team on a weekly basis
5) Assist the Project Officer to ensure the full involvement of the camp committee(s), community, community leaders, and local partners in the overall implementation of resettlement activities
6) Compile and provide weekly and monthly reports to the Project Officer.
7) Assist the admin assistant on site to maintain correct documentation for CRS processes pertaining to cash grant vouchers, purchase orders, petty cash, and timesheets

Job Qualifications:

Qualifications:
1) University degree for specific qualification in Social Work with two to three years of relevant experience.
2) Additional experience in administrative management is a plus
3) Strong knowledge in community development and mobilization with two to three years of relevant experience
4) Have prior experience in project management
5) Ability to manage partnerships
6) Have a strong understanding of IDP Camp Management
7) Have prior experience in supervision and leadership
8) Sensitivity and understanding of the cultural norms, needs, and priorities of the Haitian community
9) Ability to work well in a team under different circumstances

1. Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to prepare clear and concise reports;
2. Demonstrated knowledge of project development, budget planning and monitoring;
3. Knowledge of structures and functions of national and international agencies, donors and organizations;
