Senior Accountant at Habitat for Humanity Haiti
Job Description:
This position will be supervising the accounting team of HFHI-Haiti. The selected candidate will be involved in maintaining the Haiti accounting and finance reports using Sun Systems and in compliance with the policies of HFHI and local regulations.
Job Qualifications:
*Certificated Public Accountant or equivalent
*Masters' degree desirable
*Computer literacy in MS Office (Excel, Word & Outlook) and Sun Systems Accounting, accounting/book keeping training.
*Good attention to detail
*6-10 years of related experience including fund accounting
*Experience providing complex reports to different donors and partners
*Ability to track fund expenditures and expenses for particular donors and partners
* Experience in Grants Accounting.
*Strong analytical skills. Ability to work and interpret numbers, figures and other financial information.
*At least 2 years experience with managing USAID grants.
*Fluency in English.
