Job Description:

Habitat for Humanity Haiti is looking for an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Coordinator for a livelihood and gender development project based in the Port au Prince metropolitan area. The MEL Coordinator who works under the supervision of the MEL Officer assists in the design and implementation of all program monitoring, evaluation and learning systems. We are looking for energetic individuals with previous experience working in neighborhood rehabilitation programs.

Key responsibilities include:
*Contribute to the design and maintain the standard reporting forms, data tables, graphs and charts as indicated in the work plan
*Conduct supervisory visits to field sites to observe, monitor, and provide guidance and support to ensure that quality data is collected and analyzed regularly and effectively.
*Support the communication department in producing tools for communicating the organization performance and achievements
*Participate in all research activities (focus group, survey) and contribute to report elaboration
*Participate in the elaboration of the MEL process; oversee and provide guidance to the implementation of the MEL field activities as well as collecting required data and ensure reporting:
*Participate in learning reviews for projects to ensure that lessons learned and reports are produced and shared
*Contribute to the process to share all evaluation reports and lessons learned with key stakeholders, including beneficiaries and within the organization
*Contribute to the creation of a culture of improvement and accountability
*Organize/Ensure data collection for project activities
*Work closely with database specialist to ensure data entry and analysis
*Oversee the integration of gender equality issues into all project components; ensuring that training curriculum and support materials are gender sensitive and gender inclusive (text and illustrations), and promote women’s equal participation in skilled trades;

Job Qualifications:

*Bachelor's degree in related field. Development studies, project management, livelihoods development, micro-finance, gender mainstreaming preferred.

*Knowledge and experience in the field community development, and improving access for low-income partner families / communities

*5 years of related non-profit experience, including gender mainstreaming, project design and management

*Strategic thinking, strategy setting, visioning capacity

*Operational, program implementation, and management skills

*3+ years of supervisory experience

*Fluency in English/French required; and Haitian Creole preferred

*Excellent interpersonal skills and tenacity

*Proven ability to operate in low-income / unstable communities, by engaging and motivating stakeholders
