Job Description:
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Financial accounting and facilitation of economic decision-making activities, which require coordinating and reporting financial information to relevant recipient.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial reporting: Financial reporting and statutory accounting & reporting.
Tax compliance: Tax accounting, withholding tax, excise duty declaration, & statistical reporting.
Corporate income tax: Prepare tax accounts, create manual adjustments, create draft tax return, approve draft corporate tax return & submit corporate tax return.
CIL submission: CIL reporting FC&R and CIL reporting managerial.
Perform Heineken intercompany reconciliations and reporting.
Ensure proper reconciliation of ERP-vs-CIL on a monthly basis.
Ensure that the Taxes accounts are reconciled in regards to the “BSR” Balance sheet reconciliation.
Perform all tax related activities as per reporting & accounting department responsibilities.
Prepare and maintain the Fixed Assets register including inventory.
Provide support in the preparation of the annual audited financial statement.
Provide support in the preparation of the annual budgets, Strategic Action Plan (SAP) and quarterly Estimations.
Assist in other tasks or duty required by his direct supervisor.
Job Qualifications:
EDUCATION
Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Economy. WORK
EXPERIENCES
At least 5 years experienced in Financial accounting, preferable in a corporate company.
SPECIFIC CAPACITIES
Fluent communication skills, English and French.
Eager to learn and work in a challenging environment.
Proactive, with ability to work under pressure.
Good knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, Power point, IFRS and GAAP.
